Year 1 had a brilliant time at our Christmas party day. We completed Christmas activities played party games, enjoyed lots of food and had a surprise visit from Santa and Mrs Clause too!
Year 1 Christmas Party Day

Year 2 had an amazing party day! We played games, danced and even had a visit from someone very special.
Lucas (Y2) brought in a letter to show his friends that he had received from King Charles this week. Everyone was very impressed as it is super special. When King Charles was unwell Lucas had sent him a letter wishing him well and King has sent him a card in return. Well done Lucas!
Year 1, 2 and 3 performed fantastically in their Christmas production ‘The Christmas Recipe’
. All of their teachers were so proud of them all. Well done everyone!
Year 1 enjoyed a fun packed morning completing the Xmas multi skills games at Temple Park.
In Year 2 we have been looking at “Our World” in Geography. We have been finding out about hot and cold climates. For this week’s homework the children had to choose a hot or cold country to find out about. Myself and Mrs Walton were blown away with the how much effort the children had put in. Well done everyone!!
Year 2 had a brilliant time at the Tennis Festival today!
In Year 1 we enjoyed some French croissants or a pain au chocolat together with fresh juice as we found out about France and the language they speak there. We learned some French greetings and sang a few French songs. We even pretended we were in France listening to French music on a balcony looking at the Eiffel Tower when we had our snack. It was fantastic!
We are looking forward to learning more French throughout the year.
Year 2 had a brilliant time finding out about France on French Day. We looked at where it is and found out about their culture. We have been practicing our French greetings and singing some French songs. But our favourite part of the day was our French Breakfast!
We all had a fantastic time at the Customs House seeing Paddington in Peru and of course we took our Paddington to see it with us!
The children were engrossed in the movies all the way through and members of the public commented on their amazing, exemplary behaviour. Well done Year 1!
