Today the children had a fantastic time looking and learning all about the chicks we have in school. They were very interested in how to care for them.
Today the children in the Foundation Stage enjoyed a beautiful walk down to Cornthwaite Park for our sponsored event.
The children were amazing and we had several members of the public commenting on how amazing our fantastic children behaved.

The Reception children enjoyed a visit to South Shields Hospital on Tuesday.
Everyone had a great time.
In preparation for our assembly, Foundation Stage Children were set a writing challenge to explain why they loved their Mum.
We were going to upload some to the website but when we read the beautiful writing we just had to post all of them!

The Foundation Stage children welcomed parents to school today to perform their Mother’s Day Assembly based on the story “Monkey Puzzle” by Julia Donaldson.
Every single child put in so much effort to make the assembly such an amazing success.
We are so proud of them.

Yesterday, Reception children had a great time at the Urban Factory taking part in a gymnastics festival. They used the apparatus and practised different moves and stretches.
A fantastic time was had by all.
To celebrate Sign Language Week, Year 2, Reception and Nursery have been learning how to sign along while singing.

As you know, the Foundation Stage children went to the farm yesterday. As part of Sign Language Week, we decided to learn some of the signs for the different animals we saw.

Today, the Foundation Stage children had a fantastic day of fun and learning at Whitehouse Farm.
We held some animals and fed others. We even had time to play in the park and go on a tractor ride!
