Joshua won gold at the world championship for Karate.
We are also sad to be losing some children who are starting new schools in September. We want to wish Aydan and Lucas from Nursery, Samuel and Rowan from Year 1 and Kyron and Jordan from Year 2 all the best on their new adventures.
We also celebrated the special talents of our choir, dance club, sports leaders and the wonderful attendance from our whole school this year.
WELL DONE
Congratulations to our EYFS children, who have shown that they are hardworking, independent young people and more than ready for the challenges of Year 1. We have made many lovely memories together in EYFS and we will miss you all!
Year 1 have had a fantastic last day with lots of toys, laughter and of course a big group hug! Have a fantastic summer Year 1!

I’m An 11 Year Old, Get Me Out of Here!
The Year 6 put on an outstanding performance for the last Marsden Assembly. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and it was lovely to see how confident the children have become.
During the assembly, we also celebrated lots of awards of achievements. Molly received the Deputy Head teacher Award and Grace the Head teacher Award. Very deserving winners. This year a new award was introduced to celebrate the joy the late Denise Payne brought to Marsden. This award will be given to someone who embraces every experience at Marsden and shows the caring nature of Mrs Payne. Our first recipient is Sophie M.
Well Done Year 6!
EYFS wanted to say goodbye to Year 6 and thank them for the amazing job they carried as buddies.
We made them a good luck card and some ready confetti to calm nerves before their first day at secondary school.
They couldn’t resist one last roll down the hill! 🙂
We will miss you Year 6!
Y4 finished off their half term at Beach School with a real treat! They enjoyed delicious s’mores which were roasted by the children on the beach fire. The session started with some shelter building just incase the dark clouds resulted in a downpour but we managed to escape the showers. The children enjoyed making some amazing sand sculptures in the sand – check out their fantastic creations.
Y4 enjoyed a visit from the Nissan STEM team. During the morning event, the children were able to build their own cars and explore Japanese culture. The children also set up their own car building production line and used their problem solving skills to improve its efficiency. Great work Y4!
EYFS have had the BEST afternoon for our annual Splash Day! Although we had to cut it a little short due to the cold, we still made so many memories together ❤️
