Year 1 had a fantastic trip to Safety works learning all about how to be safe in the summer.
Nursery love to explore different ways to make marks and explore writing. Last week, we danced away to Under the Sea using our flipper flappers to make circles and lines in the air. We then transferred these skills to paper before making our own octopus!
Then we continued the fun by making marks in shaving foam.
Year 3 had a FANTASTIC day visiting the centre for life. We had so much fun exploring the museum, watching shows and taking part in a light fantastic workshop!
As part of Deaf Awareness Week, Mrs Hanratty has been teaching EYFS how to communicate using our hands. Our Word of the Week is ‘sign’ and we have been learning lots of signs linked to our theme ‘Under the Sea’.
Can you guess which animals they are?
