EYFS Helps Souter Lighthouse

20th May 2022M Hanratty

The EYFS  children heard that Souter Lighthouse needed some help. With the weather becoming sunnier, they were I need need of some books for families to enjoy while visiting.  As the children love reading so much, we knew we had to walk straight down with a selection of books.

We even managed a sneaky visit to Laura’s park on the way home! ☺️

🦀Under the Sea Writing🐬

9th May 2022M Hanratty

Nursery love to explore different ways to make marks and explore writing. Last week, we danced away to Under the Sea using our flipper flappers to make circles and lines in the air. We then transferred these skills to paper before making our own octopus!
Then we continued the fun by making marks in shaving foam.

EYFS Mother’s Day Assembly

24th March 2022M Hanratty

EYFS shared a very emotional Mother’s Day Assembly with Mams, Grandmas and lots of other special people in our lives. What made our assembly even more special was the fact that the children wrote the script themselves so the messages were very heart-warming and personal.

The staff couldn’t be any prouder of our amazing children!

EYFS celebrate Holi

20th March 2022Chloe Reed

EYFS have had an exciting day learning all about ‘Holi’. We designed our own t-shirts, looked at videos from the festival and then made our own delicious rainbow bagels. This linked in perfectly to British Science Week as we discussed the changes we could see happening.
