Year 5 had a very exciting visitor today ready for their trip to London!!
Yesterday in Year 2 we started our new Computing topic Digital Music. The children loved listening to different types of music and started to create their own music.
EYFS had a great time investigating what happens to chocolate when it warms up. We added some shredded wheat to the melted chocolate and counted out three little “eggs” to put in our nests.
All children had a brilliant time at the Easter disco!
EYFS thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the Spring Time animals with Rob from Zoo Lab. We learnt all about animal hibernation and even got to hold all of the animals.
Nursery love joining in our daily rhyme time sessions. We focus on a different nursery rhyme each week. Last week, we learned how to sing “When Goldilocks went to the House of the Bears” which you listen to below.
This week we are learning “Round and Round the Garden like a Teddy Bear” but we are having fun changing the words. We loved Jasmine’s idea of “Round and Round the Zoo, like and elephant”!
We loved the latest concert from our Rocksteady performers!
EYFS had an out of this world experience in the Wonderdome! We found out all about the planets, the solar system and the sun.
In Year Four we have been making ‘slingshot’ cars. We built a wooden chassis and launch mechanism and then designed and assembled our own car body. The children have worked so hard and are very proud of their finished products. Now to test them out…….!
