Everyone at Marsden would like to wish Mrs Hume a lovely 50th Birthday during the Easter break!
A massive thank you to The Red Bench Project who kindly donated an egg for every child in the school and made special medals which were given our egg competition winners. They even managed to organise a special visit from the Easter Bunny himself!
Congratulations to all our winners of the egg competition! There were some “cracking” eggs produced by children and staff.
An “eggcellent” time was had by all!
Keeping children safe online in this digital age can be tricky, especially when the children know more about the technology than the adults. To help everyone remain safe while online, we will be be publishing a parent guide on a different topic every Wednesday from the movement “Wake Up Wednesday”. They include descriptions of apps and instructions on turn on parental features.
Here is the first one all about Minecraft.
Another fantastic concert completed with our Rocksteady bands! The new additions were fantastic. You will be able to listen to their music at our Easter coffee morning next Friday.
Computing club had a great time getting our micro:bits to light up! We can’t wait to see what they can do next week.
This week Year 2 have been exploring measure in Maths. We have been looking at length, mass and capacity.
