As part of the UK Parliament week, we had a very special visitor in school today.
Emma Lowell-Buck, the local MP for South Shields, came to see us in Year 5 to talk about her job and the Houses of Parliament.
To prepare for this visit, each child in Year 5 had composed some questions to ask Emma and it was very interesting listening to her responses. The whole event was an amazing experience for us all!

Sounds like a very informative day!
