Marsden prides itself on haven respectful, caring pupils.
On Monday, each teacher nominated someone from each class to be put forward for the citizenship draw. The children nominated were:
Nursery Phoebe for being a caring friend who always looks after others.
Reception Anya for always being polite and respectful to all.
Year 1 Matthew for helping to raise money for a cancer charity by organising a sponsored horse riding event in fancy dress.
Year 2 Beth for always helping others.
Year 3 Hannah for raising money for a cancer charity by organising a sponsored horse riding event in fancy dress.
Year 4 Lucie for raising money for charity by taking part in the Junior North Run.
Year 5 Sophie for raising money for a special educational needs school.
Year 6 Taylor for being dedicated and giving up break times to help out around school.

The names were put in a hat and the winners were Beth and Sophie.
