As part of our Dinosaur topic, Reception and Nursery have enjoyed the story “Dinosaurs Love Underpants” this week. We made our own dinosaur paintings and created some patterned underpants by printing with shapes.
Reception had some lovely patterned underpants to look at and, shamefully, I stole them and hid them in my bag after talking about the different patterns with Nursery. Luckily, they have forgiven me and Sophie even made me a pair of my own so I won’t steal theirs again.
I am so sorry Reception and I promise to never do it again!
I couldn’t figure out why Arthur kept telling me you stole some underpants from Reception, ha. Now i understand.
The children were so excited and involved. It was lovely as a teacher to watch them come up with plans to get the pants back and play along with the story.
My granddaughter Evie said Mrs Hanratty was “‘esqualified’ from the cake making for telling lies and stealing the dinosaur underpants “ I’ve been telling everyone at work , I thought she just had a vivid imagination
