Making the chassis

The Gobin Greenpower Racing car Engineering club is up and running. The 12 children from years’ 5 and 6 have begun to build their very own racing car so that they can race it against other cars from schools around the region.

Sponsored by Greenpower, Marsden School and The Rotary Club of Sunderland, the young engineers are learning about the nuts and bolts of making a car from a Goblin kit. They are very enthusiastic and are being helped by local engineer Mike Lambert, who has many years of experience  in organizing projects such as this.
