On Monday 15th May 2017 SAFC filmed year 5 in PE for their Youtube channel, promoting the league final match involving the under 23 team. We were lucky enough to meet three players from the team, who interacted with the children and taught them key attacking and defending skills. They even signed our SAFC t-shirts and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Year 5 Football Stars

Well done to Jasmin and Alex, who were part of the winning team at a football tournament last weekend. The girls were triumphant against a number of teams throughout the country and faced a difficult match in the final but teamwork paid off and the they were overall winners! We are extremely proud of you, well done!IMG_1829[1]

Sponsored fitness with Hiit2OH

On Tuesday the whole school discovered muscles they did not know they had when Ant Clennan brought his Hiit2OH programme into school.

From the pupils to the teachers everybody had an amazing day and can’t wait to use the programme again in their PE lessons.

Have a look at the videos and photos below to see how much fun we had.

Gift for Granny

Today saw the last collecting day for our GIFT FOR GRANNY appeal.

This was a new venture this year and one which I have been over whelmed by. As a community, our parents always support the school and every charity we ask, however despite this being a time of the years when so many other things are happening, we have had an outstanding reponse to this charity.

Tonight the gifts have been collected and I can only imagine how many lives the presents will brighten during this festive season.

Thanks you so much.

Our School Council help to pack the gifts.
